Partnership for Achievement

Welcome to Tipton Green Junior School.

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find the information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.

We place great emphasis on offering a broad, balanced, relevant curriculum, which will equip children for the 21st Century.  We are committed to gaining high standards in Mathematics and English, which we see as the core essentials for increased opportunity in the future.  We also develop other skills in music, art, PE, dance and drama, as well as the problem solving skills associated with science, technology and ICT.  The modern foreign languages of Spanish and French also feature in our curriculum.  The New Primary Curriculum provides us with many topics and projects, which promote and celebrate the cultural and ethnic diversity within our school.

We offer many extra curricular opportunities including after-school clubs, trips and residential visits. The school places great emphasis on pupils' personal, social, moral and cultural development, which we feel creates a harmonious, productive working environment.

Our aim is that all our children should be happy and successful during their time here. We strive to provide a secure and caring environment in which each individual child can fulfil his or her own potential, in readiness for the next exciting stage of their educational journey.

It was a lovely experience to sit with my child in her school setting and have some mother daughter time. The music being played in the background was a nice touch. The school ambassadors did an excellent job of greeting and directing us- they were very polite and were a credit to the school. The craft activity was beautiful and we have a sentimental keepsake to remember the experience.
